How many treatments will I need?

For best results, we recommend two sets of injections The second session of PROFHILO® will be about 4 weeks after the first treatment.

When will I see the results?

The improvement in hydration develops within 2-4 weeks of the injections:

• The skin will also tighten and look smoother
• Lines/wrinkles will be improved

What side effects could I expect?

PROFHILO® has a excellent safety record with no adverse reactions reported. Side effects are generally mild and temporary. These include localised redness, discomfort and swelling in the area injected.

Does it hurt?

PROFHILO® Body is injected using very fine needles in pre-determined points just under the skin. You may feel a sting as the needle goes in but it passes very quickly. Treatment is usually relatively painless, but we can offer numbing/ice if required prior to treatment.

How long does the treatment take?

The injections are relatively quick. Depending on the area treated, usually around 20 minutes.

However, appointments are longer as we always carry out a full consultation and assessment prior to treatment. We’ll also give comprehensive advice about aftercare.
