What is it made of?

It is created from Polylactic acid and Polycaprolactone materials.

What is it used for?

Threads can correct moderate laxity of the skin, face or body by stimulating collagen production and assisting with sagging skin.

How long does it last?

The material will absorb gradually in the body with a long degradation time of 2 years. This gives the body enough time to produce a sufficient amount of collagen to completely support the aesthetic result that gives softness and suppleness to tighten the skin.

What are the benefits of threads?

As the threads dissolve, new collagen and elastin will be processed to recondition the skin and effectively slow down the process of ageing. Some of the other benefits that these threads offer is improved skin tone, colour and texture, as well as hydration. It enables lifting and gives volume to the cheekbones.

Procedure:  This procedure is done under local anesthesia injection, in a sterile environment. Procedure starts by the incision of a needle which heals quickly after.

Post-procedure: Downtime after this procedure is minimal. We strongly advise avoiding sports or other trauma to the skin for the following 2 weeks.  This will allow enough time for the threads to settle. Results will be seen immediately and continue to improve over the following days while new collagen structure is being built.

Indications: Aptos threads can be used for smoothing horizontal and vertical lines on the forehead, lifting the brows and outer brow area, restoring volume to skin that is sagging. These areas include lines around the mouth, sagging skin under the jawline, lifting and rejuvenation various body parts.

What is it made of?

It is a long-lasting premium lift PCL thread that stimulates collagen synthesis and promotes skin regeneration.

What are the benefits of these threads?

No more sagging skin. The barbed shape of the thread causes enhanced lifting effect.

Indications: Saggy cheeks, jowls, corners of the mouth for lifting, tightening of a double chin, and improvement of nasolabial folds. Also suitable for thicker skin.

How long will the results last?

PCL threads have a higher tensile strength and can therefore stay longer in the skin.  These effects can stay for 12months.

What should you not do after thread?

Do not sleep on your stomach or on your side for at least 5 days after procedure, do not wear makeup for at least 12 hours after treatment, avoid facial or facial massage for 2 weeks after treatment, avoid excessive heat exposure or exercise, avoid drinking alcohol and smoking

Is it painful?

Our doctor will inject a local anesthetic before the treatment which will make you comfortable and not feel pain. After procedure, you might feel some pain, discomfort and soreness.
