Radiesse

Radiesse® is calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. CaHA is a biocompatible mineral found naturally in bone. Injected into the skin, it provides immediate volume while the microspheres stimulate your own collagen production over time.

HA fillers add pure volume and can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Radiesse® adds volume AND biostimulates collagen — making it longer-lasting but not directly reversible. It's often the better choice for structural support (jawline, chin), while HA is preferred for areas needing reversibility (lips, under-eye).

Typically 12–18 months. The immediate volumetric effect lasts around 12 months; the biostimulatory collagen benefit continues for several months beyond that.

Yes — a hyperdiluted protocol (mixed with saline and lidocaine) is used on the neck, décolleté, hands, and sometimes face to improve skin quality, thickness, and elasticity without adding structural volume. This is a popular 'collagen stimulation' application.

No — unlike hyaluronic acid, there is no dissolving enzyme for Radiesse®. This is why we always start conservatively and use careful, anatomy-led placement.

Lips (not approved for lip augmentation due to risk of nodules), tear trough (causes puffiness), and very superficially (can cause visible bumps). Your doctor will advise honestly.
