PB Serum

PB Serum® is a range of injectable recombinant enzymes — including lipase (which breaks down fat), collagenase (which breaks down fibrotic tissue and scars), and hyaluronidase. Different formulations (Medium, High) target different indications — localised fat and cellulite versus scars and adhesions.

Similar goal, different mechanism. Kybella (deoxycholic acid) and Aqualyx destroy fat cell membranes. PB Serum Medium uses lipase enzyme to digest fat. PB Serum generally causes less swelling and bruising than detergent-based fat dissolvers. Your doctor will recommend the right option for your anatomy.

Typically 3–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart for fat and cellulite. Scar treatment often needs 4–8 sessions. Results are progressive; you'll see visible change after 2–3 sessions.

Very effective for mild-to-moderate submental fat in non-obese clients. Typically 2–4 sessions of PB Serum Medium reduces the double chin noticeably. For larger volumes, other options (cryolipolysis, surgical liposuction) may be more appropriate.

Swelling, tenderness, warmth, and sometimes bruising at injection sites for 3–7 days. The swelling is part of the mechanism — your body is breaking down the tissue. Expect the area to look worse before it looks better.

PB Serum High contains collagenase, which softens dense scar tissue. For deep atrophic acne scars it often works best combined with microneedling, TCA cross, or fractional laser — your practitioner will plan a layered approach.
