Fractional Eye Resurfacing

Both are ablative fractional lasers. Er:YAG (2940nm) is absorbed more precisely by water in the skin and has a cooler thermal effect — meaning less surrounding tissue damage, faster healing, and lower risk of pigmentation changes. CO2 (10600nm) penetrates deeper but with more downtime. For the delicate periorbital skin, Er:YAG offers an excellent balance of resurfacing and recovery.

Yes — performed by trained practitioners using Alma's Harmony XL Pro with the specialised Eye Tip. Protective corneal shields are placed under the eyelids, and the beam is precisely calibrated. Safety depends entirely on operator skill, which is why we train extensively on periorbital protocols.

Day 1: pink, warm, mildly swollen eyes — similar to sunburn. Days 2–3: fine bronzed crusting and peeling. Days 4–5: natural sloughing reveals smoother, brighter skin. Most clients feel comfortable in public from day 5–7 with mineral makeup. Full resolution of any pinkness takes 10–14 days.

A course of 2–4 sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Results are progressive — texture and wrinkles visibly improve with each session. Maintenance every 12 months keeps the result.

Fractional laser resurfaces — targeting wrinkles, texture, and pigmentation. HIFU and RF Eyes tighten — targeting laxity and lift. Many clients do both in sequence: laser first for skin quality, then RF/HIFU for tightening.

Er:YAG is safer for Fitzpatrick IV skin than CO2, but pigmentation risk still exists for Fitzpatrick V–VI. A test patch is recommended and your practitioner may suggest a non-ablative RF alternative for deeper tones.
