Why timing, tan, and aftercare matter more from April through September.
Dubai summer changes how we approach laser hair removal. The heat, the sun, and the time spent in pools and at the beach all add complexity that we plan for during consultation.
The first conversation we have is about your sun exposure in the two weeks before your session. Recently tanned skin, even from incidental exposure, sits at a higher risk of pigmentation change when treated. Our Soprano Titanium platform is safer than most lasers for warmer skin tones, but we still ask clients to avoid direct sun for at least two weeks before a session and the same after.
We also adjust treatment intervals through summer. The hair growth cycle does not change with the season, but recovery does. Some clients prefer shorter sessions on smaller areas more frequently. Others time their full-body course to start in October and finish in March, so the result is in place before summer travel.
The second thing we talk about is product. Self-tanner, scrubs, retinol, and acid exfoliants all need to come out of your routine for the week before a session and the few days after. We send a detailed pre-care guide before every booking so there is no guesswork.
If you are starting a course this summer, plan to be patient about pool and beach time in the 24 hours after each session. Light activity is fine. Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, and direct sun. SPF 50+ every day, reapplied. Most importantly, do not pick or scratch any treated area, leave it alone and let it settle.
These are small adjustments. They make the difference between a smooth result and a stubborn one.
