How to schedule treatments and at-home care to walk into Eid with calm, glowing skin.
Preparing for Eid is one of our busiest times. Clients want their skin to look its best for family gatherings and photographs, and most of them ask the same question: how late can I leave it.
Two weeks is enough for a meaningful glow. Less than a week, and we focus on gentle radiance treatments only. More than two weeks, and we can plan a sequence that includes mild resurfacing.
Day 14 to 10. This is the window for any treatment with even a small recovery, hydrating multi-step facials, gentle peels, and LED therapy. Avoid anything ablative unless we have planned it well in advance.
Day 9 to 5. Switch to non-invasive radiance work. A signature facial, dermaplaning, or a calming LED session. At home, skip strong actives like retinoids and acid exfoliants. Focus on hydration, vitamin C, and SPF every day.
Day 4 to 2. Only the lightest of treatments at this stage. Lymphatic drainage massage is excellent. A polish-and-glow facial with no extractions. Keep at-home products to gentle hydration and barrier support.
Day 1 and morning of. Hydrate inside and out. Lots of water. A hydrating sheet mask the night before. SPF in the morning even if you are indoors most of the day.
If you have a wedding or major event the same week, book your final treatment seven days before, never the day before. Skin sometimes responds in ways we cannot predict, and a week leaves room to settle.
The clients who walk into Eid looking their best are the ones who planned the entire fortnight, not the ones who tried to fix everything in 48 hours.
