Not everyone needs IV vitamins. Here is how to know whether you are one of the people who do.
Multivitamin IV is the most common starting point for IV therapy, and also the most commonly misused. Not everyone needs one. Here is who typically benefits and who is better off elsewhere.
Who genuinely benefits. Clients with documented vitamin and mineral deficiencies confirmed by blood work. Those with malabsorption conditions (coeliac, post-bariatric, inflammatory bowel disease). High training loads or chronic stress states that increase nutrient demand. Frequent travellers dealing with sustained jet lag and disrupted eating patterns. Anyone recovering from acute illness.
Who does not need it. Clients with a balanced diet, no malabsorption, and no documented deficiency. For these clients, oral supplementation with selected, well-absorbed forms is more cost-effective. The IV adds nothing measurable beyond a pleasant experience.
What is in our multivitamin protocol. A B-complex (including methylated forms for clients with MTHFR variants), vitamin C, magnesium, zinc, glutathione, and trace minerals. The full clinical dose, never split, administered over 60 minutes.
What to expect. Most clients feel an energy and clarity uplift within hours. Sleep that night is often deeper. The acute effect lasts three to seven days. Cumulative benefits, particularly for energy and skin clarity, build across a course of four to six sessions, two to four weeks apart.
How we decide who to recommend it to. We review your blood work, ask about your diet and supplementation, and look at your goals. If your goal is general wellness and your diet is solid, we may suggest a different protocol like NAD+ or Glutathione targeted at a specific outcome. If you are nutrient-deplete and oral has not closed the gap, the multivitamin IV is the right tool.
The honest framing. IV multivitamin is a wellness experience for many clients. For some, it is a clinical intervention. We try to make clear which it is for you.
