APTOS® threads are made from polylactic acid (PLA) or caprolactone — the same biodegradable materials used in surgical sutures for decades. They fully dissolve in 6–12 months while stimulating long-term collagen production. They are CE-marked and used by doctors globally.

No — honesty matters here. Thread lifts are best for mild-to-moderate laxity. If you have significant skin excess or deep jowling, a surgical facelift delivers more dramatic and longer-lasting results. Your doctor will give you an honest assessment at consultation.

Local anaesthetic is used, so the procedure itself is comfortable. Expect mild swelling, bruising, and a pulling or tight sensation for 5–10 days. Most clients return to work within 2–3 days.
