Most clients notice reduced oiliness and calmer breakouts within 2–3 sessions. Full clearing of active inflammatory acne typically takes 4–6 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Post-acne marks continue to fade over 2–3 months.

Isotretinoin is a highly effective systemic medication for severe cystic acne, but it has significant side effects and monitoring requirements. ClearSkin is a localised, side-effect-free alternative suitable for mild-to-moderate acne, or an adjunct to other therapies.
