The Process
What to expect at your appointment
1. Consultation
A 45-minute consultation with one of our doctors to assess your lip anatomy, discuss your goals, and review your medical history. We will photograph your starting point so we can compare at every follow-up.
2. Numbing and prep
Topical numbing cream is applied for around 20 minutes. The product itself also contains lidocaine for additional comfort during injection.
3. Treatment
Filler is placed precisely using either fine needle or cannula technique, depending on your anatomy. The session takes around 20 to 30 minutes once numbing is complete.
4. Same-day result
You will see immediate volume and definition. Mild swelling for 24 to 48 hours is normal. The final settled result is visible at around two weeks.
5. Two-week review
A complimentary review at two weeks to assess settling and address anything that needs minor refinement.

That is our priority. 1 ml is a moderate volume placed in carefully chosen zones to enhance proportion, not to over-fill. The conservative approach means most people will not be able to tell exactly what you have had done, only that you look refreshed.
How long will the results last?

Hyaluronic acid lip filler typically lasts six to twelve months. Your metabolism, lifestyle factors like exercise and sun exposure, and the specific product chosen all influence longevity. Many clients top up with a smaller volume every nine to twelve months.
Does it hurt?

We use topical numbing cream before the session and the filler itself contains lidocaine. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain. The lips are sensitive, so some discomfort is normal but well managed.
When can I return to normal life?

Immediately. Light swelling and mild bruising for 24 to 48 hours is common. We ask clients to avoid intense exercise, alcohol, and heat exposure for the first 24 hours, and to skip dental procedures for two weeks.
What if I do not like the result?

Hyaluronic acid filler is dissolvable. If you are unhappy with placement or volume at any point, we can dissolve it with hyaluronidase in a quick in-clinic procedure. This is one of the reasons hyaluronic acid is the preferred lip filler material.
