Dermalux LED is a non-invasive light therapy treatment that uses clinically proven wavelengths to stimulate cellular activity, promote healing, and improve overall skin health.
Clients with inflammatory acne, rosacea, redness, sensitivity, or slow post-procedure recovery — and anyone looking for a relaxing, completely non-invasive skin-health treatment that pairs beautifully with microneedling, peels, or laser..
Dermalux uses three clinically proven wavelengths: Blue (415nm) kills P. acnes bacteria and calms active breakouts; Red (633nm) stimulates fibroblasts and collagen for anti-ageing; Near-Infrared (830nm) penetrates deepest to accelerate healing and reduce inflammation. Most sessions combine all three in a multi-wavelength programme tailored to your concerns.
LED phototherapy is backed by over 30 years of clinical research, originally developed by NASA for wound healing. Dermalux is a medical CE Class IIa device used in dermatology clinics globally for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and post-laser recovery.
Completely relaxing. You lie beneath a large LED canopy for 20 minutes while warm, bright light bathes your skin. There is no heat, no discomfort, and no UV — you can close your eyes and rest.
For acute concerns (active acne, inflammation, post-procedure healing) we recommend 2–3 sessions per week for 4 weeks. For anti-ageing and maintenance, weekly sessions for 6–8 weeks, then fortnightly. Results build cumulatively — consistency is key.
Yes. LED is often added to the same session as a facial, microneedling, peel, or laser to accelerate recovery, reduce post-treatment redness, and enhance collagen response. There are virtually no contraindications with other aesthetic treatments.
Anyone taking photosensitising medications (e.g. isotretinoin, certain antibiotics, St John's wort), those with active skin cancer, epilepsy triggered by flashing light, or lupus should avoid or get medical clearance. Always tell your therapist about current medications.
Start with a personalised consultation. Our experts will assess your skin and recommend the best approach for you.
